>Laying bare the year of… Mark Ronson

In 2010 everything Mark Ronson touched turned to gold. He even did a funny as guest host on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, where he was self deprecating and surprisingly modest.

After the trumpets and covers of 2007, and his sister getting caught up in the Lindsay Lohan show, Ronson needed to step up with something original in 2010. In September he released “Record Collection with The Business International. On it was ‘Bang Bang Bang’, one of those tunes you couldn’t fail to get stuck into your head. If summer belonged to the Swedish House Mafia, Autumn as Ronson as he followed up with “Bang, Bang Bang”. The tour with Business International was massive too, selling out venues across the country and proving that Mark can do it away from the safety of the studio.

His career has gone beyond that of an uber producer, as well as the aforementioned Buzzcocks appearance, Ronson has taken to modelling, including this campaign for Zadig and Voltaire.

VN loves Ronson, and can’t wait to see what he bangs out next year.
