>Sharleen Spitteri live and loving it -it must be the music

>Texas front-woman, and Must Be the Music judge, Sharleen Spiteri well and truly seemed to catch the live music bug back last night. Often stereotyped as a moody Scot, she blazed through the Texas hit ‘Black Eyed’ Boy, breaking out in a smile at numerous points during the performance. She then bounced back to the her fellow judges Jamie Cullum and Dizzee Rascal as well as presenter Fearne Cotton, fist pumping and exclaiming.  


Sharleen Spiterri goes on tour in support of her second solo album ‘The Movie Songbook’ after the Sky 1 programme finishes. A new Texas album is pencilled in for 2011, depending on the health of guitarist Ally McErlaine who survived a massive brain haemorrhage a year ago.


In the programme itself London rock band The Pictures and Glasgow busker Emma’s Imagination progressed to the live Wembley final. You can see Emma’s performance below:
