>Que sera sera!

Just a quick one as I have just heard the FA cup draw, which has treated Spurs very well indeed. To get to the FA Cup final we have to beat Fulham at home in the replay and then the Spurs reserves in the semi-final. Not having Lennon and possibly Huddlestone against Fulham clearly makes the task a lot harder, but having survived some hairy moments yesterday Tottenham should have enough to win at the Lane.

Yesterday was hardly a thriller but Bale terrified Fulham, Modric threatened to run the show, and Gomes remembered why he was so valuable in the first place. Having had dominant periods at a tough ground, Spurs allowed Fulham into the game, but critically didn’t capitulate. Both teams were worth a replay but I think home advantage will tell in the next match.

That will leave Spurs, and Harry Redknapp, with a 3rd trip to Wembley in 3 seasons. Now the Pompey FA Cup story is a nice diversion from their problems but without O’Hara (who is ineligible) I think it will come to an end. This is without doubt the best chance Spurs have had in years of reaching the FA Cup final and they must grab it…and hope Villa beat Chelsea! Although, next year does end in a 1….
